Building with Purpose: My Leadership Journey

For me, leadership has always been about building — building companies, building people, and building systems that create lasting impact. As the co-founder of Automation Anywhere, I’ve had the opportunity to help shape one of the most transformative technology movements of our time: intelligent automation and now agentic AI. But beyond the technology itself, what has always inspired me most is the human potential behind it.

I believe innovation is most powerful when it expands opportunity for others. Throughout my 20+ year journey building Automation Anywhere, I’ve been deeply motivated by the intersection of technology, economic empowerment, and inclusion — particularly how AI can create access, unlock productivity, and enable more people, especially women, to participate in the future economy.

Leadership, to me, is not about having all the answers. It is about having the courage to take risks, remain resilient through uncertainty, and continue learning while bringing others along with you. Building a global company required adaptability, optimism, and a willingness to evolve constantly as technology and markets changed around us.

As AI reshapes industries and the nature of work itself, I believe we have a responsibility to lead thoughtfully and responsibly. The future will belong to leaders who can balance innovation with trust, speed with accountability, and ambition with empathy. Whether it’s supporting nonprofits access AI technology or supporting the reskilling of the future workforce, I have prioritized giving back throughout my company.

What continues to energize me most is mentoring founders, supporting emerging leaders, and helping create pathways for more women to step into positions of influence and decision-making. Diverse leadership is not just good for business — it is essential for building a future that reflects the needs and aspirations of society as a whole.

At every stage of my career, one belief has remained constant: technology should leave the world better than we found it. And the most meaningful innovation is the kind that empowers people to realize possibilities they never imagined for themselves.
