My Journey as a Tech HR Leader and Social Innovator

By Burcu EROL

When you grow up believing that opportunity should never depend on where you were born, you can’t help but build bridges. For me, that bridge has always been technology — a way to connect young people to careers, skills, and futures they never thought possible.

Throughout my career, I have designed career guidance and talent development projects to ensure equal opportunities for young people, especially those disadvantaged by geography or demographics.

To scale this mission, I deepened my expertise in technology and developed a mobile application that connects youth to career opportunities through gamified challenges, mentorship, and skills-building programs. This project gained international recognition when I became a finalist in the JCI UN Social Enterprise Competition.

As AI began transforming our world, I introduced a new AI-powered feature to deliver personalised career guidance at scale — an innovation that led to being named a finalist in the AI for Good competition.

Today, through 100sClub, we have reached over 10,000 young people, partnered with 50+ organisations, and organised more than 300 career events nationwide. These are not just numbers — they are doors opened for youth who might otherwise be left behind.

Becoming a TechWomen4Boards finalist is more than an honour — it is a chance to amplify the voices of young people everywhere. My commitment is to keep building innovative, inclusive solutions that empower the next generation to shape their own futures.
