Faye Murray is a strategic leader with over 15 years of experience driving strategy, AI and data transformation across complex public and private sector organisations. She currently serves as a fractional Chief AI Officer and Chief Data Officer, helping organisations unlock the value of their data and move decisively from AI exploration to execution.
Faye’s track record includes delivering AI-powered data platforms, embedding robust data governance, and leading advanced analytics and business intelligence initiatives across multinational teams. As Director of the Strategic Planning & Analytics group at the University of Warwick, she led strategic planning for a £1 billion institution, overseeing 50+ staff and delivering record revenue through data-led planning.
She holds a BA and MA (Hons) in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge and an Executive MBA with Distinction from Warwick Business School. Faye actively advises and serves as a Non-Executive Director to tech start-ups, guiding multiple companies through Series A and B funding. She is also a regular keynote speaker, author and podcast guest on topics including AI governance, digital transformation, and ethical innovation.
A long-time advocate for talent development, Faye has mentored professionals in the digital and data sectors since 2019 and recently founded her own start-up.
