* For Platinum Startups Membership, an additional Investor Engagement Agreement must be signed prior to any investor introductions or engagement. A consulting or project fee will only apply
upon successful completion of the agreed consulting services.
Membership Term, Payment & Renewal
Term
TechWomen4Boards Membership is valid for 12 months from the date of initial payment.
Payment
- Payment may be made as a one-off lump sum or in two instalments.
- Where instalments are selected, the second instalment is due six (6) months after the first.
- Membership fees must be paid in full within the 12-month membership period.
Refunds & Statutory Rights
Membership fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.
Where services commence immediately at the Member’s request, the Member acknowledges that any statutory right to cancel may be reduced or lost once services have begun.
Commencement of Services
For the purposes of these Terms, services are deemed to have commenced when any of the following occur (whichever is earliest):
- Access is granted to member-only platforms, materials, or content
- Attendance at a live or virtual event, session, or programme
- Delivery of any coaching, mentoring, or advisory support
Conduct & Termination
Abusive, discriminatory, or unprofessional conduct may result in immediate termination of membership without refund.
Renewal
Membership does not automatically renew.
A renewal reminder will be issued prior to expiry, and continued access requires affirmative renewal and payment.
Membership Benefits & Availability
Membership benefits vary by level and may include mentoring/coaching sessions, events, Talent Hub access, promotional features, and discounts.
Benefits are provided on a best-endeavours basis and are subject to reasonable availability, capacity, scheduling, and operational constraints. TechWomen4Boards reserves the right to substitute benefits with alternatives of equivalent value where necessary.
No guarantee is given that membership will result in:
- Employment or board appointments
- Investment or funding
- Commercial outcomes or financial returns
Topic 2: Mentorship & Coaching
Mentorship and coaching sessions may be delivered as:
- Individual sessions
- A defined series
- Group sessions
Payment is required in full prior to commencement of any session and is non-refundable except where required by law.
No Professional Advice
Mentoring and coaching services are provided for general guidance and development purposes only. They do not constitute legal, financial, investment, employment, or regulated professional advice.
Members remain solely responsible for decisions made and actions taken as a result of participation.
Topic 3: TechWomen4Boards Educational Programmes
Programmes include (but are not limited to):
- The Female Founder Fast Track: Metrics, Money & Mastery
- EDGE – Executive Development for Global Effectiveness
- Board Readiness Programme
Payment & Refunds
- Payment is required prior to programme start.
- Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase unless payment is made less than two weeks before programme commencement, in which case payment is non-refundable.
Digital Content
Where digital content, recordings, or materials are provided or accessed immediately, the Member acknowledges that any statutory right to cancel may be lost once access has been granted.
No refunds will be issued once programme delivery has commenced, except where required by law.
Platinum Startups – Investor Engagement
Participation in the Platinum Startups Membership does not guarantee investor introductions, funding, or commercial success.
In order to comply with applicable securities laws and regulations in all relevant jurisdictions, the Company is not acting as a broker, dealer, or placement agent and shall not receive any success fee, commission, or other transaction-based compensation tied to the raising of capital or the receipt of investor funds. However, Techwomen4Boards reserves the right to charge a consulting and/or completion fee, as specified in a separate Investor Engagement Agreement, payable upon completion of the agreed consulting services.
No investor introductions or related services will be provided until such agreement is executed.
Data Protection & Privacy
TechWomen4Boards acts as the data controller for personal data processed under these Terms.
Personal data will be processed in accordance with the UK GDPR and the TechWomen4Boards Privacy Notice, which sets out:
- How personal data is used
- The legal basis for processing
- The rights of data subjects
By joining, Members consent to the processing of their personal data for membership administration, communications, and participation in programmes and events.
Intellectual Property
All programme materials, content, frameworks, recordings, and resources provided by TechWomen4Boards remain the intellectual property of TechWomen4Boards unless otherwise stated.
Materials may not be copied, recorded, redistributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
Confidentiality
Members agree to treat as confidential any non-public information shared by TechWomen4Boards, mentors, speakers, or other members.
TechWomen4Boards will treat Member confidential information in accordance with its Privacy Notice.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TechWomen4Boards shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss, including loss of profits, business, opportunity, or reputation.
Total liability arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be limited to the total fees paid by the Member in the preceding 12 months.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Force Majeure
TechWomen4Boards shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including illness, technical failure, venue unavailability, or events of force majeure.
Governing Law & Entire Agreement
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior discussions or representations. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.
